Inaugural H&M Sustainable Fashion Africa Summit 2019

On April 24, 2019, H&M hosted the inaugural Sustainable Fashion Africa Summit.

This put a spotlight on sustainability in fashion in Africa with strategic input and learnings shared by thought leaders, change-makers and creatives in sustainability, design and fashion from the continent and from H&M Global. I joined the panel discussion led by Sthandiwe Kgoroge and spoke about the glocalisation of the fashion industry from the African perspective. We also met Palesa Mokubung, the fashion designer who is collaborating with H&M on a limited edition line, which will launch in August 2019, internationally.
