I’m Sizakele Marutlulle, a strategic executive and creative problem-solver with over two decades of experience in business development, brand strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

I lead an Africa-anchored, global creative practice that is deeply intentional about our work and optimistic about the future. Recognised on Mail & Guardian’s 2018 Women Changing South Africa List, I wear many hats: published columnist, advisor, facilitator, public speaker, investor, and mentor. I am dedicated to helping brands become forces for positive change.

My journey began at HerdBouys as the deputy MD, South Africa’s first black-owned advertising agency, where I helped reshape narratives and promote African excellence globally. My career has allowed me to lead teams at Grey as the CEO, South African Tourism as the COO, Barclays Africa as the CMO and Herdbuoys Mccann-Erickson as an Operations Director, I have won multiple awards including a Cannes Lion and a D&AD Yellow Pencil.

After experiencing the corporate world’s highs and lows, I realised my passion for branding and storytelling was stronger than ever. Today, I champion Humancentric Creativism, using creativity to drive societal transformation and inspire change.
